Raw Sniffer Dogs is my personal project built on the pursuit of raw, unfiltered moments. My mission is to go beyond posed shots and polished images, instead focusing on the spontaneous, sometimes gritty realities that make things come alive. Like a sniffer dog tracking scents, we seek out those fleeting instances—expressions, movements, interactions—that reveal the real pulse .
I love images that are honest and authentic. Through your lens, you’ll see the world as it is: imperfect, vibrant, and full of human stories waiting to be uncovered. Whether it’s a glance shared between strangers or things, the energy of a bustling market, or the quiet solitude of an empty alley, all with a raw edge.
I'm a lousy photographer myself (a shite sniffer dog :-) ), but I do enjoy making pictures in my own Wabi-sabi snapshot style and embrace the imperfection. Wandering aimlessly around the streets for hours. Deliberately getting lost in the hope of finding some direction.
But even more - I really enjoy seeing and learning about the work of others. And with the Raw Sniffer Dogs zines my purpose is to inspire viewers with work from people that look closer at their surroundings, that find beauty in the everyday, and who appreciate the unvarnished truth. People that make pictures - tell stories, evoke emotions, and preserve moments that might otherwise go unnoticed.
For me it’s important to show that work in print. And therefore I love to make (collective) zines so we can collaborate and make it affordable and feasible for everyone to get our work published.

If you live in Amsterdam you can pick it up for free or we can even drop it off while we are out walking.
If you prefer to have it shipped, the shipping costs within the Netherlands are an additional €3.75.
For shipping outside the Netherlands we have to inquire at the post office (usually this is between €8 and €10).
